Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South African on 2 December 1981. She is a model and actress who is well-known for her roles in television and in films. Having started her acting career through The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows during the last decade including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. In the year 2016 Brandt is playing the role of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt is originally from Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late the teen years. Brandt began her modeling career in the form of advertisements and print ads. Before she rose to recognition as a model, she was employed in sales at retail as well as being an expert in recruitment for information technology. Her first starring performance in the year 2009 on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. Then, in 2021 she made her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl, Naevia. Her character, Naevia, was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter in Netflix's popular series Lucifer. Her role in Lucifer is the biggest one up to now. The show co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
