Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actress from the United States. She has a number of soap opera roles, including Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. She played Daphne, a recurring character in season two of HBO's show True Blood. Ashley Jones obtained a Bachelor of Human Learning (K-8) from University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She started out her career as a teacher of Reading in Kindergarten and the 1st grade in Maury County. In 1998 she married her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and moved into Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught fourth grade. The years 1999, 2000 and 2001, she was working on her Master of Instruction in Trevecca Nazarene University while continuing teaching. In 2000, the couple welcomed their first child, Baylor. Ashley has spent the last fifteen years working on the growth of children in her home congregation and in the community, while also serving as a volunteer in various capacities. Ashley was teacher and director at Thompson Station's Preschool and Students Ministry for the past 13 years. Ashley spent three years at home, homeschooling her children. During their home schooling years they attended a family school tutorial which Ashley also taught History up to the 1st grade. She loved staying at home with her family and she loved to teach the children. But, God made it clear that the time had come for their family to return full-time. Brent and Ashley, who have five daughters. Silas Eliza, and Cruz are both students at GCA. Baylor is a GCA grad who plays baseball at U.T. Martin. Callan is another GCA graduated, goes to Western Kentucky University. The family is very engaged and they enjoy fishing, hunting, and cheering one another in sport.
